Han-EDU Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) complies with personal information protection guidelines in accordance with related laws such as the Information and Communication Network Promotion Act and the Personal Information Protection Act to protect users’ personal information. The Company establishes the following Privacy Policy to protect the personal information provided by users and to quickly and smoothly deal with related difficulties.
The Privacy Policy is disclosed through the service initialization screen so that users can always easily access it, and it may vary depending on changes in personal information-related laws, guidelines, notices, or “Han-EDU” service policies.

2. Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information
1) Membership registration and management
Personal information is processed for the purpose of confirming membership intention, maintaining and managing membership, preventing fraudulent use of services, checking the consent of legal representatives when collecting personal information for children under the age of 14, and notifying them.
2) Provision of goods or services
Process personal information for service provision, content provision, purchase and payment, financial transaction identity authentication, and financial services.
3) Use for marketing and advertising
Personal information is processed for the purpose of developing new services and providing customized services, providing event and advertising information and participation opportunities, providing services according to demographic characteristics, validating services, identifying access frequency, or statistics on members’ use of services.
3. Consent to Collect Personal Information
The Company considers that it has agreed to collect personal information by preparing a procedure for users to click the “I Agree” button or the “I Disagree” button on the contents of the Company’s Privacy Policy or terms of use. Provided, That in any of the following cases, the Company may collect and use the user’s personal information without such consent in accordance with laws and regulations:
1) Where it is clearly difficult to obtain ordinary consent for economic or technical reasons as personal information necessary to fulfill a contract on the provision of information and communication services;
2) Where necessary for the settlement of charges for the provision of information and communication services;

4. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
The Company uses the user’s personal information within the scope specified for the purpose of collecting and using personal information, and does not use it beyond the scope of the purpose of collecting and using personal information without the user’s prior consent. However, if it is necessary to share the user’s personal information with suppliers to provide quality services as follows, the recipient, purpose of providing, items of information, usage and retention period, etc. shall be notified to the member for consent, or in accordance with relevant laws.

5. Entrustment of processing personal information
1) The Company can entrust the processing of personal information to others to provide smooth and improved services. When entrusting work to another person, the user shall be notified of the following and consent shall be obtained. The same applies if any of the following changes are made.

6. Procedure and Method of Destruction of Personal Information
1) In principle, the Company destroys the user’s personal information without delay when personal information becomes unnecessary, such as the expiration of the period of possession and use, and the achievement of the purpose of processing.
2) If personal information is to be preserved in accordance with other laws and regulations despite the expiration of the period of personal information retention agreed by the user or the purpose of processing has been achieved, the personal information is moved to a separate database (DB) or stored elsewhere.
3) In accordance with Article 29 of the Information and Communication Network Promotion and Information Protection Act, the Company shall notify users in advance and destroy or separately store personal information of users who have not used the Company’s services for one year.
– The Company notifies users of the fact that personal information is destroyed or separated and stored and managed, the expiration date of the non-use period of the service, and the items of the personal information 30 days before the non-use period by notice or e-mail. To do this, the user must notify the Company of the correct contact information or modify it.
4) The procedure and method of destroying personal information are as follows.

The Company destroys personal information where the reason for destruction occurs through the approval process of the person in charge of personal information protection.
② Destruction method
The Company destroys personal information recorded and stored in the form of an electronic file by using a technical or physical method so that the record cannot be reproduced, and destroys personal information printed on paper through a shredder or incineration.
7. Civil service related to personal information
1) The Company designates the person in charge of personal information protection as follows to protect the customer’s personal information and to handle complaints and remedy damages related to personal information.
2) Users can contact the person in charge of personal information protection and the department in charge of personal information protection for inquiries, complaints, and damage relief related to all personal information that occurred while using the Company’s service. The Company will respond and process your inquiries without delay.

8. Obligations of Notification
This Privacy Policy will be notified by e-mail or notice on the website from at least 7 days before the revision (30 days before important changes) if there is any addition, deletion, or modification according to the government’s policy or security technology.
