Terms and Conditions


Effective Date: December 1, 2023


Article 1 (Purpose)


The purpose of this Terms and Conditions is to stipulate the rights, obligations and other necessary matters of the Company and its users in connection with the Han-EDU service provided by Han-EDU Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Han-EDU”). These Terms and Conditions apply to e-commerce using PC communication and wireless as long as they are not contrary to their nature.


Article 2 (Definitions)


The terms used in these Terms and Conditions have the following meanings. Provided that among terms not defined separately, legal terms follow the definitions in the relevant laws and regulations, and general transaction terms follow transaction practices.


1. The term “Han-EDU” means a service platform in which a Company uses information and communication networks to sell contents and products to members or to mediate sales.
2. The term “Service(s)” means any service that the Company provides to its Members through Han-EDU for free.
3. The term “Content” means data or information (including their composites) such as codes, letters, figures, colors, sounds, sounds, images, images, and videos created to convey knowledge, information, etc.
4. The term “Goods” means tangible or intangible goods provided to Members for free or for free.
5. The term “Member(s)” means an individual or organization that has agreed to these Terms and Conditions to use Han-EDU and obtained approval from the Company after completing the membership process.
6. The term “Member Subscription” means that a member enters into a Han-EDU use contract with the Company in accordance with the contents of these terms and conditions.
7. The term “Withdrawal of Members” means the termination of the Han-EDU use contract with the Company in accordance with the contents of these Terms and Conditions.
8. The term “Member Information” means all information provided by a member when registering for a Company.
9. The term “Account” means a collection of information necessary for a Member to access Han-EDU and use the Service, including an e-mail address and password.
10. The term “Creator” means an individual or organization that plans and is responsible for the entire process in Content production.

Article 3 (Explanation, Explanation and Amendment of Terms and Conditions)


1. The Company publishes the contents of these Terms and Conditions through a link on the initial Service screen so that users can easily understand.
2. The Company may revise these Terms and Conditions to the extent that it does not violate relevant laws, such as the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc.
3. These Terms and Conditions become effective when the Contents are posted on the Service screen or notified to Members by other means such as e-mail.
4. If the Company clearly notifies the user as progress is being made and does not express an intention to refuse from the date of notification to the 7th day after the date of application of the revised terms, it will be deemed to have been approved.
5. If the user does not agree to the application of the revised terms, the Company or the user may cancel/cancel the use contract.

Article 4 (Use of Services)


1. The Company provides a variety of Services to provide its Members with knowledge and information, including sales of content, products, etc. or sales intermediary.
2. Members can use Services using information and communication devices such as computers and mobile phones, and the specific contents and conditions of use of individual services can be checked in individual terms and conditions, notices, and service initialization pages.
3. The Company provides basically the same Service to all its Members. Provided that according to related laws such as the Youth Protection Act or special circumstances related to the provision of individual services, the use of Services may be restricted, such as providing services by classifying users based on age or certain grades. Details of this can be found in the information and announcements on each Service.
4. The Company may discontinue the provision of the Service if a Member commits an act in violation of these Terms and Conditions.

Article 5 (Membership Registration and Membership Withdrawal)


1. Membership registration is completed when a Member applies for membership to the Company in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and receives approval from the Company for membership registration. In this regard, the Company may proceed with the process of verifying the real name of the Member.
2. The Company basically accepts the membership registration requested by the Member in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Provided that in the following cases, the Company may delay or reject the approval of membership registration.

1) In case of refusal to provide the information required for membership registration
2) If you apply for membership by entering other people’s information or false information
3) If you apply for membership for the purpose of destroying social order
4) In case the account is suspended due to violation of related laws, terms of use, etc.
5) If there is reason to suspect that the Company has interfered with the business or caused damage to the Company, or applied for membership for that purpose
6) In case of applying for membership for profit
7) In the event that membership registration cannot be accepted due to other physical or technical reasons

3. Members can apply for withdrawal from membership at any time in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, and the Company basically approves the membership withdrawal requested by the Member. Provided that in any of the following cases, the Company may refuse or withhold approval of membership withdrawal.
If there is a legal obligation that a member must fulfill to the Company
If a dispute arises or is highly likely to occur between the member and the Company

4. The Company may withdraw membership regardless of whether the Member applies for any of the following cases. If a Member does not agree to the revised terms and conditions, and there are circumstances in which the Member cannot apply the terms before the revision
5. The Company deletes or destroys the information provided by the Member at the time of membership withdrawal, or keeps it for a certain period of time in accordance with the relevant laws and personal information processing policy. Provided that the posts written by the Member until the member’s withdrawal from membership are not deleted, and the Company cannot request the deletion of the posts after the member’s withdrawal from membership.


Article 6 (Rights and Obligations of Members)


1. Members shall comply with these Terms and Conditions (including individual terms and conditions and policies).
2. Members can use the Services provided by the Company for free or charge. The Company publishes the specific contents and usage conditions of the paid service on the service initialization screen.
3. Members can use the Service on a regular basis. Provided that the Company may temporarily suspend the use of Han-EDU by Members if the following reasons occur.

1) Inspection, repair, and replacement of telecommunications equipment
2) A disruption to the information and communications network
3) Other legal and technical obstacles

4. The Member shall manage the Account and shall not provide or disclose any information about the Account to any third party.
5. A Member may use all Services, including Content, only the Member himself/herself and may not provide the right to use (including the establishment of collateral, trust, etc.) or grant the right to use it.
6. Members shall not archive, duplicate, distribute, modify, exhibit, demonstrate, publish, license, create, sell, or use any content or information contained in the Services or acquired through the Services.
7. No Member may bypass, delete, modify, invalidate, weaken, or undermine content protection in the Service, use robots, spiders, scrappers, or other automation means to access the service, reverse compilation, reverse engineering, or process, insert code or product, or manipulate the service in any way, data mining, data collection or extraction.
8. A Member may not upload, post, email, or otherwise send or transmit materials designed to disrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of computer software or hardware or communications equipment related to the service, including computer code, files or programs.
9. Members may create posts within the Service. Provided that if a post written by a Member contains any of the following expressions, the Company may request or delete it.

1) Expression in violation of laws and regulations of the Republic of Korea or a foreign country
2) Expressions related to crimes in South Korea or abroad
3) Expressions intended for the benefit of members or third parties
4) Expressions that include pornography, ferocity, brutality, gambling, etc
5) An expression that destroys social order
6) An expression that defames the Company or a third party by indicating facts or false facts
7) Expressions that infringe on the intellectual property of the Company and third parties
8) A discriminatory expression that violates an individual’s human rights or equal rights

10. Members shall not engage in the following activities regarding the use of Han-EDU. Nevertheless, if a Member commits the following acts, the Company may take measures against the Member, such as requesting a correction, deleting posts, restricting or suspending the use of the Account, claiming damages, criminal charges or accusations.

1) Violation of laws and regulations of the Republic of Korea or a foreign country
2) Violation of these Terms and Conditions (including individual terms and conditions or policies)
3) Illegal acts using Han-EDU directly or indirectly
4) An act of entering illegal information and proceeding with membership registration;
5) An act of interfering with the Company’s business by means of hierarchy, power, etc
6) An act of obstructing a Member’s use of Services by means of hierarchy, power, etc
7) The act of stealing another person’s personal information or payment methods
8) Providing one’s Account or means of payment to a third party (including the establishment of collateral, trust, etc.) or permitting the use thereof;
9) An act of infringing on the intellectual property of the Company or a third party
10) An act that undermines the reputation or credit of a Company or a third party
11) The act of posting information containing obsceneness, brutality, gambling, etc
12) Discriminatory acts that infringe on individual human rights or equal rights;
13) Use of Han-EDU for the benefit of yourself or a third party without prior permission from the Company
14) The act of collecting information from a third party without permission
15) Impairs, interrupts, or overloads all servers operated by the Company
16) Transmission or publication of information (computer programs) other than information determined by the Company

11. The Company may permanently suspend the use of the Account of the Member if the Member repeats the act under Article 4 (10) more than twice or fails to correct the result of the act or act within 30 days from the date of requesting a correction.


Article 7 (Suspension of Use of Accounts)


1. The Company may temporarily or permanently suspend the use of its Members’ accounts under these Terms and Conditions.
2. The Company shall not be responsible for the extension or refund of the course period due to the restriction or suspension of Account use due to the reasons attributable to the Members.
3. The Company notifies the Member one week prior to the start of the suspension of the Member’s account. Provided that the Company can shorten the notification period and notify the suspension of use afterwards if it is unavoidable.
4. The Company may delete all or part of the information posted by a Member whose account has been suspended.

Article 8 (Protection of intellectual property)


1. Works such as contents provided by the Company to members through Han-EDU are the intellectual property of the Company or a third party and are protected by the laws of the Republic of Korea and foreign countries.
2. The Company strives to protect the valuable intellectual property of its Members and third parties. If the Company infringes on the Member’s intellectual property, the Company shall compensate the Member for damages incurred by the Member in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations.
3. When a Member publishes information to Han-EDU, the Company or a third party may use the information for the purpose of promoting or marketing the Company or Han-EDU. Provided that if a Member notifies the Company of his/her objection to the use, the Company will stop using it.
4. The Company may modify or delete all or part of the information posted by the Member or change the place of publication as required by the Business.

Article 9 (Personal Information Protection)


1. The Company establishes and complies with the Personal Information Processing Policy in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act to protect the valuable personal information of its Members. Members can check the personal information processing policy on Han-EDU.
2. The Company can collect and use the Member’s personal information according to the personal information processing policy. Provided that Members may refuse to provide personal information or request the deletion of personal information at any time.
3. According to the Act on Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization, Information Protection, etc., a Company may transmit advertising information for commercial purposes to its members using SMS, e-mail and other electronic transmission media. In this case, the Company provides the Member with a way to refuse to receive the advertisement, and the Member may refuse to receive the advertisement.

Article 10 (Interpretation of Terms and Conditions)


1. Matters not specified in these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by relevant statutes, such as the Act on Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communication Networks, and the Information Protection Act.
2. The Company interprets these terms and conditions fairly in accordance with the principle of good faith and does not interpret them differently depending on the customer. In addition, any unclear part of the terms and conditions will be interpreted in the customer’s favor.
3. A Company may operate individual terms and conditions or policies for the individual services that comprise Han-EDU. In this case, the individual terms or policies shall have effect on the member in the same manner as these terms and conditions, and if there is a contradiction between them, the individual terms or policies shall have priority.

Article 11 (Company Liability and Disclaimer)


1. If a member suffers damage due to reasons attributable to the Company, the Company shall compensate the member for the damage. Provided that compensation for damages is limited to the actual damage suffered by the member.
2. When a Company conducts mail order brokerage, the Company is not a party to mail order and the Company is not responsible for the transaction between the member and the mail order broker. Provided that the Company provides members with information on the requestor for mail order brokerage in accordance with the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.
3. The Company does not guarantee the legality, accuracy, integrity, reliability, validity, etc. of the service.
4. The Company shall not be responsible for the product under the Product Liability Act for products that are provided to members for charge or free of charge. Provided that if a member requests information about the manufacturer or supplier of the product from the Company, the Company will provide the information to the member within a considerable period of time.
5. According to the Act on Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization and Information Protection, the Company takes technical measures necessary for security of all Han-EDU data including member information. Provided that despite the above technical measures, the Company is not responsible for damages caused by third parties attacking the Company’s information and communication network or related information systems through hacking, computer viruses, etc.
6. The Company does not guarantee the integrity of the data that constitutes Han-EDU.
7. The Company shall not be liable for any of the following:

1) Damage caused by reasons attributable to the member
2) Damage attributable to the Company or where specific damage has not been proven
3) Damage related to disputes between mail order sellers and Members in transactions mediated by the Company as mail order brokers
4) Damages arising in relation to the legality, accuracy, integrity, reliability, validity, etc. of the service;
5) Damage related to product liability under the Product Liability Act concerning products supplied to Members
6) Damage caused by circumstances that are difficult to control by the Company, such as natural disasters, industrial acts, and infectious diseases
7) Damage caused by disputes between Members or between creators and Members

Article 12 (Jurisdiction of the governing law and jurisdiction)


1. The interpretation and application of these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws and regulations of the Republic of Korea.
2. In the event of a dispute between the Company and its Members, the jurisdiction over the dispute shall be governed by the Civil Procedure Act. Provided that if a Member lives in a foreign country, the Seoul Central District Court of the Republic of Korea shall be the exclusive jurisdiction court of the first trial.

Supplementary Provision
These Terms and Conditions shall be effective from December 1, 2023
